The General Secretary of the World Association of CYMCA Visits the local Associations in Hong Kong

The Chinese YMCA of Hon Kong is a member of the global YMCA movement. It has always been committed to cooperating with all walks of life and serving the community. Our association is very honored to be visited by Mr. Carlos Sanvee, Director-General of the World Association of YMCAs, from July 26th to 29th. He had a dinner with the management of the association to share and exchange work experience and achievements.
Mr. Sanvee witnessed the birth of the latest ESG report of the association, and shared the joy of the association being shortlisted for the "Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Achievement Award 2022/2023". The contribution of the association's services to Hong Kong society makes participants feel very encouraged. Mr. Sanvee visited several service units of the Association, including visiting the aviation-themed classroom "AEROSTEM" in the Chinese Y.M.C.A. Secondary School, experiencing a realistic simulated flight land learning about the traditional Chinese tea art culture. Principal, Frederick Cheung, teachers and students introduced to Mr. Sanvee the school's unique learning characteristics of aerospace science and technology courses and related local and overseas career planning outlets. The students made Chinese tea for Mr. Sanvee and introduced Chinese tea art culture.
