Academic Year
2025 - 2026
Date

In early February, a group of senior secondary Geography students participated in a cultural exchange tour to Shanghai and Ningbo.

Spanning iconic landmarks from the Bund and the Old City of Shanghai to the China Port Museum, the trip provided students with valuable insights into the Maritime Silk Road and the developmental achievements of Ningbo's port trade. The itinerary allowed students to deepen their understanding of our nation's economic development and the "Belt and Road" Initiative, encouraging them to reflect on the resulting opportunities for Hong Kong.

Furthermore, students had the privilege of visiting the Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling in Shanghai and participating in a traditional Xiaolongbao making workshop. By appreciating the rich historical culture and the legacy of prominent figures within these cities, the programme aimed to cultivate students' awareness of safeguarding cultural security and further enhance their sense of national identity.
