School Information
Chinese Y.M.C.A. Secondary School was founded in 1961 by the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. Since its establishment, the school has been serving the community by providing top quality education in which students pursue academic excellence and spiritual fulfillment. In 2000, the school relocated from Sheung Wan to its present premises in Tin Shui Wai. To meet this new environment, the school committed itself to set a new standard in facilities available to the students and the highest quality of teaching and learning. Eight years on, the school entered a new era by becoming eligible to operate under the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS).

Our school strives to provide quality Christian education to bring out the best in pupils spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, socially and aesthetically in accordance with the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. We regard cultivating a Christian character in students as our ultimate goal.
School Mission
We follow and practise our school motto ‘Glorify God and Love Others’. Based on the teachings of the Bible, we nurture students to pursue knowledge with confidence, seek wisdom with humility and explore truth with gratitude, thereby establishing a harmonious and loving relationship with God, with themselves, with others and with the world. They can develop their potential and follow the spirit of Christ to serve people, love others and glorify God.
